We designed our Orville Extension Dining Table with both intimate family dinners and large holiday gatherings in mind. Crafted from solid oak and oak veneer, this oak dining table brings unique form and exceptional function to your dining space from its clipped corners to its self-storing butterfly leaf. The sturdy construction of this oak dining table stands the test of time as it provides enduring beauty and memory after memory.

Care Information
• For daily care, dust with a dry, soft cloth. If spills occur, blot immediately and wipe with a damp cloth using water only. We recommend avoiding the use of cleaners as they contain chemicals that may tarnish or damage the finish. Please be sure to use a coaster, trivet or placemat when necessary to protect the finish and keep your piece looking good as new for years to come.

The table itself is gorgeous. The color isn’t too yellow which was a fear of mine. It’s sturdy but simple. The lines are perfect; however, this is the second one we’ve received and it came broken. I’m super disappointed with the quality control. The actual customer service team taking care of the issue has been great. Hoping that the next replacement that is sent is not broken or defective.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. My table came defective. They refused to offer a credit or a replacement and simply offered a minor discount on a future purchase. Since I don’t intend to be a future customer, this is useless to me.
After much back and forth, they continued to say they would do nothing. I tried to get even a small credit so I could pay to have it repaired and they told me I would need to cover that cost. The customer should not have to pay to have a brand new table fixed. It should have been delivered without the defect.
I told them that was unacceptable and notified them that I declined the charge on my card. Only then did they say they’d taken another look and could in fact provide a replacement.
Fast forward 3 weeks. I have reached out weekly to inquire about my replacement table as I have not heard anything. They now say that because a chargeback has been filed, there is nothing they can do for the time being. I told them immediately I had filed a chargeback, so to me, this was total bad faith on their part. They have never been fully transparent or willing to take responsibility for a damaged table.
*If* the chargeback is resolved in their favor, they say they will revisit my case and work towards a solution. I do not trust or believe this. I will NEVER buy from them again, not even on an inexpensive decorative item.

We were happy to offer either store credit or a replacement item to help resolve the issue, but unfortunately, by the time these options were extended, a chargeback had already been initiated on the order. Once a chargeback is in process, our ability to provide refunds, credits, or replacements becomes very limited due to financial regulations. Between the time I placed an order and weeks before its arrival, table went on sale and I had paid full price. Thus I purchase an item that significantly depreciated in value before it physically arrived at my home. I asked to see if McGee and Co would honor their sale as I had not received the table. They refused. Table not worth the high price as reflected by their sales practices.
