This is a versatile and elegantly simple lamp. The height makes it at home as a pair in a bedroom or as a single entryway statement. The silk shade is a perfect balance for the stone base. The base appears darker ( warmer)in natural light but the real beauty is when the light is on as it illuminates the natural colours in the stone.
