• Content Description: Wool is an all-natural fiber made from the protective coats of sheep. Rugs made from wool are durable, yet soft and luxurious underfoot. Wool offers natural stain resistance, making these rugs easy to clean. Some shedding is to be expected but will decrease over time.

• Construction Description: A hand-knotted rug is made on a large loom where a master weaver carefully and intricately ties each knot by hand, making an incredibly durable rug. The more knots per square inch delivers a more defined pattern and enhanced durability. Hand-knotted rugs do not have a backing and can last for years if cared for properly. Because they are crafted by artisans, no two hand-knotted rugs are alike.

Care:

• For daily care, dust with a dry, soft cloth. If spills occur, blot immediately and wipe with a damp cloth using water only. We recommend avoiding the use of cleaners as they contain chemicals that may tarnish or damage the finish. Please be sure to use a coaster, trivet or placemat when necessary to protect the finish and keep your piece looking good as new for years to come.
• Appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability.
