Augustine Handwoven Indoor/Outdoor Rug

We designed our Augustine Handwoven Indoor/Outdoor Rug with outdoor durability and elegant versatility in mind. Handwoven in India from recycled materials, it’s able to withstand the outdoor elements yet remains as soft and beautiful as cotton. Whether used indoors for high traffic areas or outdoors––layered under a doormat or grounding your patio furniture––this modern plaid immediately updates both spaces alike.

Due to the handmade quality of our rugs, they may vary slightly in size and/or color. Rug pattern is scaled to rug size and may vary from the images shown.

• Flatweave Thickness: 5-6 mm

• Material: PET
• Material Explanation: PET fibre is highly durable, making it a perfect construction for an indoor/outdoor rug. Dirt and stain resistant.
• Construction: Hand-Woven
• Construction Explanation: A handwoven rug is braided or woven directly on a loom, which produces a flat or low-profile rug. Handwoven rugs are durable and long wearing. Because they don’t have a backing, flat-weave, handwoven rugs are reversible which can extend their life by rotating and flipping. These rugs are crafted by artisans, so no two rugs are alike.

Care:

• To maintain your Indoor/Outdoor rug, we recommend regular vacuuming on a low setting to remove dirt and debris and to avoid exposing the rug to heavy rain or standing water. If wet, dry the rug flat in sunlight. If spills occur, blot them immediately with a clean, dry cloth and only use rug cleaning agents that are safe on synthetic fibers. Make sure the rug is thoroughly dry on both sides before placing it back in its location. Do not keep the rug outside during inclement weather months, such as winter.
• Appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability.
