I have a mid-century modern home, built in 1958. It's been re-modeled twice before with less than spectacular success. So, my turn. I wanted modern light fixtures that looked appropriate, yet not overtly so. I ordered two Scarlett fixtures in the Dove Grey, and they are perfect with warm ivory walls and cabinetry that will be painted either Mizzle or Eddy from Farrow and Ball. My kitchen will be opened to a lot more light, and darker Mizzle, or softer Eddy will work equally well with the Scarlett pendants. They add a golden glow from the interior shade, and the chain is what makes these lights so sensational. I cannot wait to see these hanging above the island in my new kitchen.
