Unexpected weight which gives it a feeling of higher quality with the plaster hoods and we actually think the fixture looks better without the plexiglass shield at the bottom of the fixture . Used exposed wire bulbs and it is a classic look. We are very happy with the pendants.
Only reason we didn't give 5 stars is there is a lot of wasted rod pieces when you are dealing with a 10' ceiling and the brass cover plate at the ceiling is a little flimsy.
