• Material Explanation: Wool is an all-natural fiber made from the protective coats of sheep. Wool rugs are very durable, resilient, and offer natural stain resistance. They are soft and luxurious underfoot and easy to clean. Some shedding is to be expected but will decrease over time.
• Construction Explanation: A hand-knotted rug is made on a large loom where a master weaver carefully and intricately ties each knot by hand, making an incredibly durable rug. The more knots per square inch delivers a more defined pattern and enhanced durability. Hand-knotted rugs do not have a backing and can last for years if cared for properly. Because they are crafted by artisans, no two hand-knotted rugs are alike.

• Wool will look great for a long time just by vacuuming regularly. Be sure to turn the beater bar setting off before vacuuming. Clip loose ends with scissors to remove. If spills occur, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Use a common wool cleaning detergent to remove stains. For substantial spills and stains, we suggest professional cleaning only. Rugs placed in direct sunlight will fade over time, so we recommend rotating your rug.

• Our items are carefully inspected prior to shipment, but damages do happen, and we ask that you inspect your pieces upon receipt and notify us of any damage within 48 hours; our team will promptly work on a replacement.
