• Pewter tarnishes very slowly, so it requires minimal attention to keep it looking attractive. Over time and daily use, a natural patina will build up, enhancing the beauty, by softening the already gentle lines, adding warmth and character to the object.
• To maintain its natural look, it requires minimum care:
• Rub the item gently with a soft cloth.
• Pass a soft sponge moistened with lukewarm water and liquid soap dish over the surface. Remove soap completely with a wet rinsed soft sponge and dry the surface carefully using a soft cloth.
• To avoid stains or spots do not leave water or other liquids on the surface for long periods without having care to clean and dry as suggested before.
• Do not leave acid food residuals such as citrus fruit or vinegar, over the surface for a long period.
• Do not use abrasive sponges or aggressive detergents.
• Spots can be removed by using extra fine “0000” steel wool, rubbing gently the area at first with small circular movements and afterwards finishing with straight movements.
• From time to time for a more thorough cleaning and for greater protection from oxidation, a metal polish like “Metarex” or “Hagerty –Pewter Wash” can be used.

• Rugs, lighting, and non-custom furniture can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 15% restocking fee.
• Custom upholstery, made-to-order items, vintage pieces, swatches, and clearance items (priced ending in $.99) are Final Sale  and cannot be returned or exchanged.
• Our items are carefully inspected prior to shipment, but damages do happen, and we ask that you inspect your pieces upon receipt and notify us of any damage within 48 hours; our team will promptly work on a replacement.
