I usually don't leave reviews one way or another BUT I want to love these but really struggle to. Although they look pretty, I CAN NOT get a taper candle on them without breaking the candle. IF I'm lucky enough to get the candle on, they aren't secure and hard to get both candles evenly placed. I would definitely keep looking if you want brass candle sconces.... :(

this item is pretty and feels sturdy with its weight but it also came with some scratches to the pretty gold and the metal prong in the center made it impossible to put real taper candlesticks on (each one I tried cracked and broke) and then also prevents you from being able to set the fake taper candlesticks in the center of the holder. Ended up trying to cut off the sharp prongs to see if that helped and still no luck so all in all glad it was only around $40 but still feel like that was too expensive for what you get
