Cute especially with ribbon. The brass detail adds a lot of character. Love the way the light gently gets slightly dimmer and brighter to make it look more realistic, and love that it is remote controlled. I use rechargeable AAA battteries and it works great. 10 is all you need if you need to cover only about 3 sides of a 7.5 foot tree. If I had to cover all sides or if i had a bigger tree, I may have purchased one more set.
